LAHORE: Justice Nasim Sikandar, a judge of the Lahore High Court has resigned here on Thursday.
He was among the 12 judges who had taken oath under the PCO.
The cases of the judges, who had taken oath under the PCO against the decision of the Supreme Court on November 3, 2007, are to be sent to the Supreme Judicial Council following the Supreme Court decision of July 31.
The chief justice of the Lahore High Court had sent to the ministry of law the summary regarding PCO judge justice Nasim Sikandar but justice Nasim opted for retirement by resigning.
Justice Nasim Sikandar was also a member of the Pakistan Election Commission from Punjab. LINK
