According to industries sources, the shortage happened due to lack of supply. Oil companies are making efforts to supply oil from other provinces. The oil supply has been affected due to financial crisis in Attock Refinery.
Pakistan State Oil (PSO) sources said a tanker of PSO containing 33,000 tonne petrol will reach Karachi port which will later dispatch to affected areas. LINK
