LONDON: More than three quarters of Britons believe the government is not doing enough to support British troops in Afghanistan, according to an opinion poll released on Monday.
Eighty-two percent said the British government should provide better support for troops compare with 12 percent who said it was doing enough. Fifty-seven percent said troops should not be fighting in Afghanistan, with only 17 percent of women supporting Britain's role in the conflict compared with 40 percent of men. Nearly 13 percent said it was "very clear" why British troops were in Afghanistan. LINK
