NAGASAKI: A memorial service in commemoration of the nuclear attack on Japan’s city Nagasaki today 64 years ago was held here.
It was the second incident of nuclear attack in the world, when on August 9, 1945 morning a nuclear bomb ‘Fat man’ was dropped by US B-29 aircraft, killing over 75,000 people.
A memorial service was held today in commemoration of the 64th Anniversary of the holocaust. One-minute silence was observed on this occasion. Japan observes black day on August 6 and 9. The first nuclear bomb was dropped on August 6 in Hiroshima, which had killed 1,40,000 men, women and children. LINK
