LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who visited Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) like minded leader Salim Saifullah at his residence, said he came to congratulate on the wedding of latter’s son.

Talking to journalists after the meeting, he said he has ties with Salim Saifullah like brothers have.

‘I came to congratulate Salim on his son’s wedding,’ he informed.

This was neither a political meeting nor was politics was given a thought, he said.

Talking on the occasion, ‘Salim said Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are two large political parties; however, the third large parties is ours.’

The politics and wedding should not be interlinked, Salim said.

The Muslim-leaguers were at odds yesterday, they may agree tomorrow as well, Salim maintained, adding if PML-N and PPP can make an alliance, then PML-Q would also form one with PML-N.

However, Salim said they would make an important announcement tomorrow after General Council meeting, adding his party will make show of power at tomorrow’s meeting.LINK
