KARACHI: The Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Karachi, lauding the efforts of Karachi police, said that the deaths of infamous gangster Abdul Rehman Dakait and his three accomplices was a result of triumphant police encounter.

He said some of his gang’s associates succeeded to flee the shootout scene.

Talking to media men here at JPMC Hospital, CCPO Karachi said Dakait was involved in over 80 police cases while Sindh government had announced Rs.5 million bounty money for his head.

He hoped to decline the unlawful activities in Lyari following Rehman’s demise while in order to maintain the law and order situation in Karachi, the police and rangers have been put on high alert.LINK
