LAHORE: After winning five gold medals in the first Asian Martial Arts Games in Bangkok, the six-member Pakistan team returned home on Monday.
The national team consisted of Mohammad Haroon, Ayatullah, Mohammad Ashiq, Shabeena Nawaz and Farah Riaz while Abida Tanveer officiated as coach.
Pakistan won nine medals including five gold in the championship.
Team coach Abida Tanveer said that she is very pleased with the performance of the players.
Shabeena Nawaz, who won two gold medals in the event, said that she is glad that her performance brought good name to the country.LINK
