LAHORE: Electricity shortfall of more than 3,000 megawatt continues in the country and the people are suffering from severe difficulties due to unscheduled loadshedding.
Duration of power failure has reached 11 hours in urban and 16 in rural areas.
Trade activities and daily life routine are badly affected due to power failure and unscheduled loadshedding due to which business community and citizens are protesting.
Consumers are also suffering from water shortage due to continuous closure of electricity in some areas.
PEPCO officials said that duration of loadshedding has increased due to decline in power generation in mangla, Giddu and Chashnob.LINK..
