KARACHI: The Sindh MPAs hailing from minorities, condemning the torching of non-Muslim population in Gojra, appealed to Punjab government to take severe notice of the incident and take up practical steps in this connection.MPAs from minorities held a session at Sindh Assembly here against incidents of violence against the Christian minority; the session was attended by members from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q).Addressing the press conference after the session, the minority MPAs said Punjab police did not provide protection to the Christian fraternity, adding this is fourth incident within one month, which is quite alarming.The MPAs appealed to Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry to take suo moto notice of Gojra mishap and that the strict action is taken against the miscreants involved in the incident.
