BALAKOT: Several shops in a market of Balakot were partially damaged while two persons were slightly injured due to a bomb explosion early this morning.

The bomb was exploded outside a former CDs shop here in Paradise Market and more than ten nearby shops were affected by the blast whereas material of a mosque situated there was also damaged.

The blast also injured two persons present at a barber’s shop and they were discharged after giving them first-aid in a hospital.
High officials of police and administration reached on the spot just after the explosion while investigations were made by calling the bomb disposal squad.

DPO Mansehra after inspecting the spot told media that this was a time bomb in which eight kg of explosives was used.

He said apparently the members of a defunct organization are involved in this incident. LINK...
