PESHAWAR: The district administration of the city will start bearing down on the traders involved in hoarding sugar and those who are not selling the commodity at Rs47/kg, Geo News reported Friday.
District Coordination Officer (DCO) Peshawar Sahibzada Muhammed Anis told Geo News that the wholesale market of the city is being provided at least ten trucks of sugar daily, adding every truck has 250 sacks of sugar.
Anis said sugar price has been fixed at Rs47/kg; and crackdown will be launched on those who violate the order of selling sugar at this price and those who stash the commodity for profiteering. LINK
